University of California

The University of California-Berkley, or simply CaL, as it is referred to, is a public university founded in 1868. It is a very prestigious university that is currently ranked #22 among national universities. Situated opposite SF Bay, the University of California is an urban university with nearly all freshmen dying to get a chance to stay on the campus. Cal truly represents California’s spirit, and it is a respected name in the educational institutions across the state. 

A Massive Campus in an Urban Setting 

The majestic campus of the University of California-Berkeley is spread over 1232 acres. It has an urban setting, with more than 31,000 students enrolled in various undergraduate courses. They observe a semester-based academic calendar in CaL. The average yearly in-state tuition fee is $14,226, which is a bit on the higher side. The out-of-state yearly tuition fee is close to $44,000.

The admission process is highly selective in CaL, and it is reflected in the wonderful diversity of students pursuing their undergraduate and graduate-level course here.
